Your raid plans, live in-game.

The Raidstrats.gg addon brings raid planning into World of Warcraft — pull your roster automatically, build plans or import them from the website, share with your group, and fire timed in-combat popups so every raider knows exactly where to stand.

Everything the addon does

Plan, share and coordinate — without leaving WoW

From roster to ready-check, the addon covers the whole raid-planning loop in-game, and lets you import finished plans from the raidstrats.gg web planner.

Assignments on readycheck

When a ready check goes out, the compact planner opens for every assigned player — your spot glows green so you know exactly where to stand before the pull.

  • Opens automatically on ready check for assigned players
  • Phase tabs (P1, P2…) to jump straight to the right scene
  • Arrow buttons to step through each assignment in a phase
  • Stays open for a grace period after everyone is ready (configurable in Settings)

Build plans with a full object palette

Everything you need to lay out a strat right on the boss arena: shapes, raid markers, role and class icons, arrows, lines and free text — across multiple scenes for each phase.

  • Shapes, 8 raid markers, role & class/spec icons, text
  • Arrows & lines, donuts, cones and ellipses with strokes
  • Scenes for each phase · spell icons & tooltips on imported abilities
  • Lock the canvas to present without nudging anything

Organize with the Plan Library

Keep every strat in one place. Group plans by boss or night, reorder them, rename in a click, and multi-select to organize in bulk.

  • Groups · drag & drop to reorder or move in/out
  • Ctrl+click to multi-select, Shift+click for a range
  • Right-click to rename, create a group, or remove

Share to group & push live updates

Send a plan to everyone running the addon in a single click. Tweak a strat between pulls and push just the change — no full re-import needed.

  • Share to Group pushes to the whole raid at once
  • Push Update uses delta-sharing — only changed objects
  • Shift+click a plan or group to share it via whisper/chat
  • Import multiple plans at once from copied strings

Raidcheck — know who's ready

See exactly who's on the plan at a glance and nudge anyone who isn't — the whole group, or one player.

  • Live status: viewing, on another plan, missing the plan, or missing the addon
  • Send notif to open the plan for everyone, or right-click one player
  • Auto-import newest version when enabled

In-combat popups, timed to the pull

Paired with NSRT, the right scene pops up mid-fight at the right second — and highlights each raider's own spot. No alt-tabbing during progression.

  • Compact view appears on a timer, per phase
  • Your spot glows green; everyone else stays grey
  • Click-through & lockable during combat — place it anywhere
  • Shows your assigned position during the ready check too

Integration
Viserio / WoWUtils Raidstrats.gg

Built into WoWUtils & Viserio Cooldowns

The Raidstrats addon is integrated directly into WoWUtils / Viserio Cooldowns. You can link a raidstrats.gg raidplan to any assignment, then author timed in-combat popups right from the assignment — the cue lines are appended to your NSRT note automatically.

  • Cues from assignments — drop popup timers on the boss timeline per scene.
  • Personal highlight — show a plan only to assigned players and light up each person's own spot.
  • Ready-made timers on select Mythic assignments (e.g. Lura, Lightblinded Vanguard) — edit or reset anytime.
  • Stays in sync — swap a player and the highlight follows whoever fills the spot.

Northern Sky Raid Tools

NSRT integration & note syntax

Want the plan to pop up on its own during the pull? Pair it with Northern Sky Raid Tools (NSRT). You add a few rsgg lines to your NSRT note — the addon reads them and shows the right scene, to the right people, at the right second. If you can write an NSRT timer, you can do this.

1

Cue window

With dur:, the plan shows before time and hides at the cue.

2

Addon filters

Checks the tag — are you assigned?

3

Scene opens

The compact planner view appears mid-fight.

4

Your position lights up green; others stay grey.

A complete note, line by line

nsrt-note.txt

# 1. Bind short aliases (A, B) to your plan refs — do this once
rsgg-bind;plan:A;ref:3d7b347e-6aa4-46c4-b397-df4127b2b6d2
rsgg-bind;plan:B;ref:90b48577-7d4b-4f90-bca3-8a3815f9df4e

# 2. Optional: name reusable groups of players
rsggGroup1: TankOne TankTwo
rsggGroup2: SoakerA SoakerB SoakerC SoakerD

# 3. Add cues: at 5s in P1, show everyone scene 1 of plan A
time:5;ph:1;rsgg;plan:A;scene:1

# Tanks only, with an indexed spot map, on scene 2
time:18;ph:1;rsgg;plan:A;scene:2;tag 1: TankOne 2: TankTwo

# Soak group in P2: show 20s before the cue, hide at cue time (same as other NSRT timers)
time:100;ph:2;rsgg;plan:B;scene:3;tag:Group2;dur:30

Cue line fields

Semicolon-separated, in any order after rsgg.

FieldWhat it does
rsggMarks the line as a raidstrats cue.Req
time:Seconds into the current NSRT phase.Req
ph:NSRT phase number the cue belongs to.Req
scene:Which plan scene/tab to show (1, 2, 3…).Req
plan:Alias from an rsgg-bind line. Omit to use the last bound plan.Opt
tag:Who sees it — a group, inline names, or an indexed spot map.Opt
dur:Seconds to show the plan before the cue time (hides at time:). Same pattern as other NSRT timers. Example: time:100;dur:30 shows from 70 to 100.Opt
compact:Set false for the full window instead of the compact view.Opt

How to read a line

Colors match the example above.

  • rsgg / time:Keywords — the cue marker and its fields.
  • 3183 / 18Values — numbers you fill in (IDs, times, scenes).
  • A / Group2Your data — plan aliases, refs, group and player names.
  • # noteComments — ignored by NSRT, just for you.

Read the last cue as: “In phase 2, show scene 3 of plan B to everyone in Group2 from 70s to 100s (dur:30 before time:100).”

Deciding who sees a cue

No tag

Everyone

Leave tag: off and the scene opens for the whole raid running the addon.

time:5;ph:1;rsgg;scene:1
Groups & names

A specific set

Point tag: at a rsggGroup line, or list names inline. Position sets the spot — name 1 = index 1.

rsggGroup1: Alyssa Bran Hector Dia time:45;ph:1;rsgg;scene:2;tag:Group1
1Alyssa
2Bran
3Hector

If you're Alyssa, spot 1 glows green.

Indexed spots

Many per spot

When several players stack on one spot, map them explicitly — the number is the Preview index on your plan.

time:20;ph:1;rsgg;scene:1;tag 1: Alyssa Bran 2: Hector Dia 3: Kara

Spot 1 → Alyssa & Bran, spot 2 → Hector & Dia, spot 3 → Kara.

Preview index = your spot numbers

Turn on Preview index in the planner to see the number on each object. That's the same number your tag refers to — object 1 on the map is spot 1 in your note. Test the whole thing outside of raid with /rsggtest.

  • Use dur:N on a cue to show the plan N seconds before time: (hides at the cue). Without dur:, Settings → NSRT Timing lead/linger applies.
  • Skip plan: and the cue reuses the last plan you bound.
  • Bind as many plans as you like — one rsgg-bind per alias.
