Where to stream the RWF, which guilds go live, and how to follow standings and boss kills in real time.
The Race to World First is primarily watched on Twitch. The top three guilds (Method, Echo, and Liquid) stream their progression when the race is live. Search for “WoW” or “World of Warcraft” during a tier launch and look for guild names or “RWF” in stream titles. Many players also co-stream or commentate the race, so you can choose between raw guild POV or narrated coverage.
Stream schedules are round-the-clock during the race because guilds run in shifts. Prime-time viewing in your region will usually have at least one major guild live. You can also use our built-in stream viewer to watch Method, Echo, and Liquid right here on Raidstrats.gg with chat included.
You don’t have to watch 24/7 to stay updated. Our RWF tracker shows live guild standings, boss kills, and progression. Data is pulled from Raider.io, so you can see who’s ahead, who just got a kill, and how many bosses each guild has downed, without keeping a stream open.
Bookmark the tracker during a tier launch and refresh to see the race unfold. Combine it with Twitch when you want to watch actual pulls and strategy in real time.
The race starts when Mythic difficulty opens for a new raid, usually one or two weeks after the raid’s initial release. Blizzard announces the Mythic unlock date in advance. The race then runs nonstop until the first guild clears the final boss; that can take from a few days to two weeks depending on difficulty and tier.
Check our RWF page for the current tier’s countdown and raid info. When the race is active, the tracker shows “Race In Progress”; when it’s over, you’ll see final standings and “Race Complete.”
